Kinette Crop in Atwood

Our first sign that winter has arrived - SNOW and just in time for the Kinette Crop in Atwood yesterday. The winter weather did not dampen spirits and a good time was had by all. A special thanks to our hostess Brenda and all the girls that helped to make this a fun day. We shared a lot of laughs, ate some great homemade food and even managed to get some scrapbooking done.We were the loudest table - imagine that. Here is the House Mouse Christmas card I made - I really love these mice!

Design Team at Scrapbook Queens

Ok a week of firsts! Tonight I have my first meeting at Scrapbook Queens as a DT member. This is another thing I never thought I would do. I love to scrapbook and make cards but I never think that anyone is going to get inspiration from what I do. So this will be the test - I hope I can inspire someone and I also hope that this will help me to think outside of my linear box. Sit tight ladies - ride is about to begin!

Our Time with Rambo

Last night I went to the meeting about Rambo's recall for advanced training. It seems like just yesterday I picked up an eight week old puppy and now we are talking about him going back to start the next part of his journey. Good news is that he will make some child with Autism an amazing dog - bad news is we love him dearly and will miss him like crazy. More good news is that he is 6th or 7th on the back up list so there is a possibility that he will not go until June. Keeping our fingers crossed Ramby baby!!

Scary Parts of Life

I don't consider myself tech savvy but when I try to do something like set up this blog I feel very tech challenged.
I am a product of my environment - growing up in the 60's and 70's I still remember black and white TV's, dialing a phone by putting my finger in a hole and learning to type on a manual typewriter. All I am saying is please bear with me until I learn how to do this. I never thought I would have my own blog - proving that you really can teach an old dog a new trick!
